Doctor G Movie Story:

Doctor Ji (2022) Uday Gupta, a medical college student wanted to specialise in Orthopaedic, but is stuck in an all-female class of Gynaecology. Will he change his department, or will the department change him. Doctor G movie is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language medical campus comedy-drama film directed by Vithvin Kashyap and produced by Junglee Pictures. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah. The film follows the struggles of a male doctor who is interested in orthopedics but becomes a gynecologist instead, thus leading to chaos. Uday Gupta (Guddu) a medical student wants to take up Orthology but due to lack of seats he gets enrolled in Gynaecology for which he is least interested.He believes that Gynaecology is a subject made for females as most patients prefer female Doctors at the time of delivery.Due to lack of seats Uday has to enroll himself in Gynaecology where he has to face brunt from his senior female Doctors.

Doctor G movie is a comedy drama film directed by anubhuti kashyap. Ayushmann khurana does what he has done over the years. There was nothing new from her. Rakul preet singh has fallen off the cliff it seems, her acting potential is substantially declining. Sheeba chaddha and shefali shah hold the ship together with their presence. The supporting cast is good. The screenplay is engaging. Its more of a drama than comedy, the drama is built well. The shift from a chauvinist to losing the "male touch" was handled well. The film talks about sensitive topics. It tried to layer it in comedy, but the trope is getting repetitve to be honest.
