Let yourself be a work in progress that’s where the magic is.

The world doesn’t exactly hand out a map when you’re born. No one tells you the exact turns to take or the stops you’re supposed to make along the way. So here you are, every day waking up and doing your best to figure it out even when you’re convinced you’re messing it all up.

But here’s the thing:  this is your first time living, too .

We’re so quick to see the best in others, to remind them to take it easy, to offer a shoulder when they’re lost. Yet when it’s our turn to stumble, to feel out of place, we’re merciless with ourselves. We forget that no one is born knowing how to be here no one has a perfect script for how to do life.
You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re  learning .

And that’s not something to be ashamed of.  It’s something to be proud of . The truth is, there’s no blueprint for being human. No secret formula that unlocks the perfect way to live. Everyone you’ve ever admired is improvising, too.

And while you’re learning how to be here how to be you remember that you’re allowed to give yourself the same understanding you give to everyone else. You’re allowed to feel lost and still have worth. You’re allowed to start over as many times as you need.
