| Finally, Facebook Introduces the “Dislike” Button |
After a long wait, Facebook has finally added the much-anticipated “Dislike” button to its platform. The new feature has been rolled out on the mobile app, allowing users to react to comments with a dislike.
However, the feature is not yet available to all users. Anyone can update their Facebook app to check if the option has been activated for them. Initially, Facebook introduced a downward arrow button called “Annoying”, but in the latest update, it has been replaced with the official “Dislike” icon.
So far, Meta has not made any official announcement about the feature. Also, it is not visible on the web version yet only a limited number of mobile users can access it for now. According to tech experts, the feature is still in the testing phase and may gradually roll out worldwide.
For many years, users have been asking Facebook to add a dislike option so they can express disapproval or disagreement with posts or comments. Until now, Facebook focused only on positive reactions like Like, Love, Care, and Haha to maintain a friendly environment.
Experts believe that with the introduction of the Dislike button, Facebook is signaling a major change in how users express their opinions on the platform.
