If you have a pure heart, Allah will give you something you never had

When I think about how Allah writes my story and how destiny works, I can’t help but smile. I never imagined that Allah’s plans for me could be this amazing.

Sometimes it feels strange how people come into our lives. I often don’t realize it until I look back at an old photo and suddenly notice that they were already there, somewhere in the same place as me. I just didn’t recognize them until one day, Allah gave me the chance to truly know them and have real conversations with them. Isn’t that wonderful? To think that we were once in the same moment, without knowing that one day, we’d be meant to know each other more deeply.

And I’ll tell you something beautiful. When I wanted to learn about Hikayat, it wasn’t because of anything else  I was just genuinely curious and truly wanted to learn more deeply about it. My intention was pure. And then, Allah gave me something I never thought I could have — money.

At first, I received 50,000 rupiah because my story about Hikayat was chosen as one of the three best works. I didn’t expect anything; I just felt so grateful. “Alhamdulillah,” I said again and again. I was happy enough with that I could buy snacks for myself, and it felt like a small but precious blessing.

Then, unexpectedly, I received 500,000 rupiah. I was so amazed. I froze for a moment it felt unreal. “Is this true? Am I really receiving this?” I kept asking myself. “Ya Allah, thank You.” I couldn’t stop repeating it.

And you know what made it even more meaningful? For about two months, I had been praying to Allah to give me some money, so I could buy what I needed without asking my parents. I asked for rezeki that is pure and safe rezeki that brings no harm.

And when I received it, I realized it came exactly when I needed it most. My skincare had run out, and I really wanted to buy a book again. And today is 10.10  what a perfect date, right?

So, thank You, Allah.

One thing I’ve learned from this is that Allah will always give you something you never expect if you believe and give yourself permission to simply try. Just try and allow yourself to receive His blessings with an open heart. After that, Allah will give you things you never imagined you could have. Because for Allah, it’s easy but for us, as humans, it often feels hard to believe.

So, believe in Allah. Keep doing your best in life. And soon, you will receive not only what you need, but also what you truly want.
